Women Empowerment

SKGS believes that economic empowerment of women leads to gender equality. We understand the vital role women play in shaping modern society and have therefore created livelihood opportunities for villagers by empowering women. Women were responsible for most of the household activities including cooking, collecting firewood, fetching water and fodder; and grinding grains. By providing suitable training and infrastructure for income generation, SKG Sangha has managed to successfully create a regular source of income for women.
